My approach to photography is greatly influenced by my academic background in anthropology and visual arts, my training as a painter, and my professional background working in television. I am drawn to a mix of curated editorial work, guided artistic portraits, and the treasured authentic moments in between. It’s my goal to capture beautiful, authentic portraits of my subjects that can be treasured in their lifetime and then as heirlooms.

I strive to create a sense of spontaneity and intimacy in my work and invite the viewer to dip into this other world of fleeting beauty preserved in photographs. Some of my favorite pictures have come from when I’m moving through a party like a guest with a camera. My intention is to create a window to a poetic dreamscape that highlights the timelessness of the moments caught.
