I’m Kam, an American film and digital photographer living in Paris, France. Practicing art has been central to my life, having studied art and anthropology then working on TV shows for Showtime, Fox 21, Sony, Amazon, and Netflix.
While I loved working in TV, I felt the call to pursue photography and have since photographed couples and events around the world. My work celebrates the energy of a once in a lifetime event mixed with witnessing and documenting fleeting moments. My photographic approach combines the honesty of reportage storytelling with the artistry of guided portraiture. I have a deep love of film photography, and appreciate the unpredictability and personality of the medium.
With a long professional background in high pressure events, I am skilled at maintaining a calm and positive environment.
