Dreamy Elopement in Florence Italy
Basilica di San Miniato is one of my favorite locations in Florence. Not only is the basilica itself stunning, the grounds offer unparalleled views of Florence. Only 10 minutes from the city center, and it feels like you’re in a different world. We were lucky to have blue skies and clear weather for an unimpeded view of Florence.
So you want views of Florence? Some tips for this location: arrive at Basilica di San Miniato for pictures with the church, the view, and wander through the small gardens. The main dramatic stairs lead to the Terrazza San Miniato, which boasts a breathtaking view of Florence. Arrive before sunset to take advantage of the shifting golden hues that are so flattering and bring out the best colors and textures. It’s just another example of how you can’t go wrong getting hitched in Florence.
